The lake is between 1.5 and 2 Acres with depths of between 5 ft and 18ft in the winter months and 2ft and 12 ft in the height of the summer. The fish stocks are mainly made up of Carp, between 2 and 30Ilb with a large head of double figure fish.
As well has carp Biddlestone has a good head of Bream with some of the larger slabs weighing in at over 8lb.
To complement the Carp and Bream there are a small head of good size Tench, however these fish do appear very allusive. The lake water levels do fluctuate throughout the year but with such a good head of water in the main pool, this never seems to effect the fishing, only enhance it.
Biddlestone pool is an ideal venue for the experienced, Novice or Junior Angler.
